I finished Round 1 at 181 lbs and and begain Round 2 after taking a week off of the P90X routine. This time around I stopped using the resistance bands and started using the pull up bar and picked up 10 lb weights versus the 3 and 5 lb weights I was using in round 1. I also started to keep a food diary with a target calorie intake of 1200 calories. I finished at more like 1400 on average. I also started doing push ups without my knees on the floor. You really just have to do your best as your weight hinders you more than you realize, As you get lighter your able to do more and push yourself more and bend in ways you didn't think possible. I think of Ab Ripper and how I couldn't sit up without leaning off to the side and pushing with my arm to sit up. Now to sit up requires no arm involvement and I can sit straight up. I continued with the coach with United health care and we saw significant weight loss in the first 8 weeks. For me on P90X, the 8th week is my peak at weight loss. The same thing happened in Round 1. I ended Round 2 on Aug 26th 2011 at 164lbs. A few days later I dropped to 161 lbs. I took 2 weeks off to satisfy my cravings after being hard core P90X'r after 6 months. You will start to certainly miss the occasional "drink" and the steaks. Here are the results:
